Addie L. Johnson is a founding member of Johnson & Perkins, PLLC. She primarily practices Real Estate, Estate Planning, and Probate law. She has also represented an array of clients in the Family Courts in a number of Texas counties. Ms. Johnson is also licensed to practice in the United States Southern District Court for the Southern District of Texas and is a Certified Mediator. She has co-authored articles in the Real Estate Executive with Attorney Perkins in the Legal Matters column. She currently writes the Legal Corner in the Good News Monthly, a Christian newspaper that circulates throughout Fort Bend County. Additionally, she has presented before the Kendleton Heritage Society regarding restoring and maintaining historic property as well as the Light of the World Christian Fellowship in Humble, Texas about common probate concerns.
Attorney Johnson is a member of the American Bar Association, Houston Bar Association, and the American Association for Justice. Additionally, she serves as a Mediator for the We Solve Foundation. She gives back to her community through her membership with Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. as a Diamond Life Member and Suburban Sugar Land Women where she serves as an Advisory Board Member. She is also a proud member of First Colony Church of Christ.
Ms. Johnson earned a J. D. from Texas Southern University’s Thurgood Marshall School of Law and graduated Cum Laude in 2003. Because of her hard work and determination, Johnson was inducted into the Phi Delta Phi International Legal Honor Fraternity. She received her B.A. in Political Science from Prairie View A&M University, finishing as a Summa Cum Laude graduate. |

Jarrett C. Perkins is a founding member of Johnson & Perkins, PLLC located in Houston, Texas. He concentrates his practice in the areas of Real Estate, Trusts, Probate, and Estate Planning. Moreover, he has litigated cases in the United States Bankruptcy Courts. Mr. Perkins is licensed to practice in Texas and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas.
As a means of keeping abreast with the never ending legal evolution and better serving his clients, Jarrett C. Perkins maintains membership in the following organizations: the Texas State Bar Association, Texas Young Lawyers Association, American Bar Association, and Houston Lawyers Association. He has co-authored articles printed in Real Estate Executive Magazine under the column entitled, Legal Matters. These articles focused on various issues related to real estate law such as the tax advantages to having a home office, ways to protect yourself from negative representation, referral risks, and home warranties. His community involvement includes being an active member of HYREP (Houston Young Real Estate Professionals), the Rotary Club, and a Prince Hall Mason. Mr. Perkins has lectured on the land rights and obligations of both landowners and families with decedents in community and privately held cemeteries. Additionally, Mr. Perkins was a feature panelist for Black Enterprise Magazines’ Financial Empowerment Series where he spoke about basic issues dealing with estate planning.
